Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is an artificial tear and moistens the surface of the eye (including artificial eyes) in the same way as natural tears.

Do consult your doctor immediately,

Do not use any other ophthalmic medication for at least 5 min after using hydroxypropylmethylcellulose eye drops.Remove your soft contact lenses before use ofhydroxypropylmethylcellulose eye drops and wait for at least 15 min before you insert them again.
